サザンオールスターズ (Southern All Stars) - Nude Man

Released on July 21, 1982, Nude Man is the fifth studio album by the renowned Japanese rock band Southern All Stars. This album marked a significant milestone in their career, blending their characteristic rock sound with elements of kayōkyoku (traditional Japanese pop).  Following the success of "Chako no Kaigan Monogatari," Nude Man soared in popularity. The album reached number three on Oricon's 1982 year-end chart and ultimately became the best-selling album in Japan for that year.

The success of Nude Man solidified Southern All Stars' position in the Japanese music industry. Their innovative fusion of traditional and contemporary styles in this album not only broadened their fan base but also influenced the direction of Japanese pop and rock music in the 1980s.
