Released in 1976. This album showcases Sawada's international appeal, featuring tracks recorded in multiple languages, including French and English. The album includes songs like "Mon Amour, Je Viens Du Bout Du Monde," which achieved significant success in France, reaching the 4th position on the charts and selling over 200,000 copies. The album reflects Sawada's versatility and his efforts to reach a global audience during the mid-1970s.

Paris Londres Tokyo was more than just an album—it was a statement of Kenji Sawada’s ambition to expand beyond Japan and establish himself as an international artist. During the 1970s, it was extremely rare for Japanese musicians to achieve recognition outside of Japan, but Sawada’s efforts to sing in multiple languages (French, English, and Japanese) reflected his pioneering approach to globalizing J-pop.

One of the album’s biggest successes was "Mon Amour, Je Viens Du Bout Du Monde", which became a hit in France, reaching No. 4 on the charts and selling over 200,000 copies. This was an incredible feat for a Japanese artist at the time and helped Sawada gain European recognition. His presence in Paris and London allowed him to introduce Japanese pop culture to a new audience, paving the way for future artists who sought international careers.

Additionally, the album’s success challenged the perception of Japanese pop music as being solely domestic. At a time when Western music was heavily influencing Japan, Paris Londres Tokyo proved that a Japanese artist could create music that resonated with international audiences while maintaining their unique style.

Although the globalization of J-pop would take decades to fully materialize, Kenji Sawada’s cross-cultural approach set a precedent for later generations of Japanese artists, including Yellow Magic Orchestra (YMO), Hikaru Utada, and even modern J-pop acts like Perfume and Arashi, who have also sought overseas recognition.
